Migraine and the 900 year old treatment

Migraine has been recognised for centuries and the search for effective treatment has been ongoing. Willow bark, recommended by Hippocrates, contains aspirin, widely used today for management of headache and migraine. Cannabis is another age-old remedy, first advocated by Hildegard of Bingen in the 12th Century in her book Physica.
